2021 Presentation Day Results

Isabella Scalzi has capped off a fantastic season at Metro United by claiming the club’s Best and Fairest award at yesterday’s 2021 Presentation Lunch.

Scalzi was ever-present for Metro United in 2021, making 26 appearances this season in all competitions.

Lauren Steer was awarded WNPL Players' Player of The Year, whilst the WNPL Coaches’ award went to Emma Cotgrove.

Mary-Anne Frost took out both the Coaches Award and the Players’ Player Award for the WNPL Reserves, while Mel Armstrong was named of the Reserves Best and Fairest.

Mikayla Librandi was the recipient of the 2021 Rising Star award. After initially beginning the season with the Under 17 squad, Librandi impressed in her 9 appearances in the WNPL Reserves earning her 2 caps for Tony Scalzi’s WNPL side.

Jason Cavey was named as the Metro United Club Person of the Year. This award, selected by the club’s management committee, is about paying tribute to those who often unselfishly sacrifice themselves for the good of the club.

Andrew Zacharia, Tayla Wark and Bianca Contestabile was inducted as Life Members.
