Round 9 Preview – Adelaide University vs MUWFC

Round 9 has come around quickly, and we travel to West Beach to face an Adelaide University side who are looking to keep in touch with the Top 4.

MUWFC are undefeated in the last 3 games, and the focus of the week for coach Tony Scalzi is continuing to build momentum and really consolidate a Finals position.

Roxy Dodd returns from a break, and is in raring form after a game changing appearance in the Reserves Cup match against Adelaide City Reserves on Wednesday night.

Mirella Scalzi has also been included in the WNPL squad for the first time in 2019 after some standout performances in the Reserves, and will be looking to return to the side permanently.

Chrissy Panagaris will be looking to continue her outstanding form in the front third, with 6 goals in the last 3 games, to now be equal leader of the WNPL Golden Boot.

Be sure to bring your MUWFC beanies, scarves, umbrellas and jackets as it will be a cold, wet and windy affair at West Beach.
